Happy 2014! January is here and it is time to link up with Farley at Oh’ Boy 4th Grade.
Listening: It is in 2:30pm and there are still random fireworks being popped in the neighborhood. My dog just hates it.
Loving: I have spent the past week with my husband and 3-year-old daughter. He was off all last week but, went back to work today. We have not spent that much time together in a very long time. This is a picture of them when we went camping last weekend.
Thinking: I have so many blessings in my life, that there are too many to count. This time of the year can be very hectic and overwhelming but I am trying to stay focused on all the wonderful blessings I have in my life.
Wanting: I want to lose this weight! I have gained 10 pounds since school started. Now I have even more I need to lose. I know what I have to do, I just don’t like doing it!
Needing: I need to clean this house. I have taken down the Christmas tree but, there is still a lot to do.
Tradition: We always go to my parent’s house to eat dinner for New Year’s Day. My mom has always made us eat at least one spoonful of black-eyed peas for good luck. I will now eat them without being forced. Now I will have to start the tradition with my daughter. We’ll see if she eats them tonight.
I hope that you have a great 2014!
