September Currently

I am linking up with Farley from Oh’ Boy 4th Grade to share my September Currently. We are in our 2nd week of school and it has not slowed down yet! Some days I feel like I am swimming upstream.

I do love my kids though so that makes the day a little easier. I was lucky enough to loop with  my kids from 3rd grade to 4th grade, and it was the smoothest start I have ever had.

listening: I am sitting with daughter while she watches Strawberry Shortcake. I love that they focus on friendship and doing the right thing. Hopefully some of it is soaking into my 4-year-old.

loving: I love snuggling with her at night and wind down after a long day. She tells me, “Momma,  I wanna snuggy with you!” I can never get enough of it!

thinking: I’m thinking of all the great fun we are going to have camping this weekend at Splashway Waterpark. It is our favorite place to go. We go every Labor Day to end the summer.

wanting: I’m so excited that our house is almost done! This has been a year-long ordeal so I am so ready.

needing: I really have to get my lesson plans done tonight for next week. Our copy day is tomorrow so I need to get my copies turned in.

goals: 1. trust: I need to trust that God has a plan in everything and I just need to trust in His timing and be patient.  2. breath: When I get frustrated I need to stop and breath before I react. I do this sometime but I really want to do this all the time!  3. enjoy: I really want to enjoy the everyday moments. I want to enjoy looping with my kids and enjoy teaching them. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful class. I really want to enjoy this year.

I am really excited about this month and all the wonderful surprises and challenges that are headed my way. I hope you have a great September! Make sure to go check out the other bloggers and see what they have going on.

We went camping this Labor Day also. It’s a tradition. We almost didn’t make it because out truck is having mechanical issues! Luckily we got there. I really needed the rest.
