Resolutions

2014 Resolutions! Well it’s that time of the year where you think about what you did this past year and what changes you want to make in the next year. I had a great year! I started my blog and got more involved with TPT. I have met so many awesome people and learned so much. I have a wonderful family including my 3-year-old daughter that I love spending time with. She is so awesome!

I have linked up with A Peach for the Teach to share my 2014 resolutions.

Personal: I need to balance my time with my family, career, and try to make more time to exercise. I really struggle with that.

Professional: I changed to 3rd grade this year and I have really struggled with the timeline of the curriculum. I feel that it is really rushed and the kids don’t really get a grasp of the concepts. I know it will get better next year but I have been very negative about it this year. I am going to just accept it and do my best at helping my kids understand all the concepts.

Classroom: I have several kids that are smart kids but are struggling with some of the standards. I want to make sure they don’t fall through the cracks.

Blog: I have really slacked lately with my blog. I have none done a very good job balancing my life. Refer back to first resolution!

Just for fun: I want to go camping more. We traded in our old camper for  a  brand new camper that is better fit for our family.

I hope you all have a terrific 2014! Let me know some of your New Year Resolutions.

    Hi Jennifer!
If you’re mom is serving black-eyed peas, I’m sure I can be at her house in time for supper!
My mom cooks them, too and I can’t think of a better way to get a new year started.
    Happy New Year!
